After being criticized by Conor McGregor for bringing his daughter to UFC 278 where he lost by KO to Leon Edwards, heavyweight fighter Kamaru Usman has been left feeling impressed. While seeing him lose the UFC welterweight championship last month, McGregor tweeted his anger at the previous world champion.
Usman was knocked out and taken out from the ring after receiving a shocking head kick that caused him to tumble to the ground.
Usman’s daughter, who had witnessed her father suffer a horrific loss, was sitting near the cage and sobbing.
According to Mirror, McGregor said: “I feel this deep. I instructed my wife and three kids to stay at home during my bout with Dustin Poirier. I do not at anyway recommend bringing relatives. especially the younger ones. Fighting like this is different. I’ve been on both sides of this, and I think it’s preferable to go on the mission alone. Family can be reconnected after the war. Will undoubtedly carry on in this manner coming forward.
Usman appeared to be enraged by the comments because he asked how his adversary could be so low in a recent Joe Rogan interview. “My daughter was shown as the camera panned into the audience,” Usman added. It was the craziest thing when my daughter sobbed. An instant trigger reaction occurred. I felt like crying in my chest simply watching it from her.
Anthony Joshua, according to Wilder, is afraid to face him.
Deontay Wilder, an American boxer, reportedly said Anthony Joshua and his staff tried everything to avoid a fight with him, according to a previous story from Sports Brief.
Additionally, Wilder seemed irate with boxing promoter Eddie Hearn, claiming that everything was done to avert a match between him and Joshua. In their rematch on August 20, AJ, who had lost both of his heavyweight title belts to Oleksandr Usyk of Ukraine in September 2021, was once more defeated.
