The largest diamond in the rough, weighing 3,106.75 carats, was discovered by the South African Premier mine’s superintendent in 1905 during a routine examination (621.35 g).
Changing over to King Edward VII
It was completed as a present to King Edward VII after many vicissitudes, and he cut it and selected the major stones to be a part of the English Crown Jewels.
